Meapica is the data controller for personal data collected through meapica.com.

We collect the data necessary to create your personalized book: child's name, age, city, interests, and physical characteristics for illustration. We also collect email and shipping address to process orders.

3. Purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively to: generate the personalized story, process payment and shipping, and communicate with you about your order. We never sell data to third parties.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the execution of the contract (your order) and your explicit consent when creating an account.

5. Third-party services

We use Supabase (storage), Stripe (payments), and Gelato (printing) as third-party services. Each service has its own privacy policy.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability by contacting us at hola@meapica.com.

7. Children's data protection

We do not collect data directly from children. The child's data is provided by the parent or legal guardian who creates the book.

Meapica is a personalized children's book creation platform operated from Spain.

2. Service

Meapica offers the creation of personalized children's stories with unique illustrations, printed on demand.

3. Intellectual property

Illustrations are created specifically for each book. The buyer receives a personal, non-commercial use license for the purchased book.

4. Prices and payments

Prices include VAT and are displayed in euros. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.

5. Shipping and returns

Books are printed on demand. Delivery time is 7-14 business days. As personalized products, returns are not accepted except for manufacturing defects.

6. Limitation of liability

Meapica does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Illustrations may vary and a specific result is not guaranteed.

How is my book created?

You choose the adventure, customize the character with your child's name, age and features, and our technology writes a unique story with original illustrations. No other child in the world will ever have the same book.

How long does shipping take?

Once the order is placed, the book is printed and shipped within 7-12 business days in Spain, and 10-15 business days in the rest of Europe. You'll receive an email with the tracking number when your package leaves the workshop.

Can I customize the character?

Yes! You can choose the name, age, hair/eye/skin color, hairstyle, gender, and even add their pet, favorite food, or future dream. Everything appears in the story and illustrations.

What paper do you use?

We use FSC-certified Munken 170g paper with a soft cream tone that's easy on the eyes. The binding is thread-sewn with reinforced covers, built to withstand years of readings.

Can I request changes after purchase?

Since each book is a unique edition generated on the spot, it cannot be modified once created. That's why we show you a full preview before purchase, so you can review the story and illustrations.

What size is the book?

The book measures 20×20 cm (8×8 inches), the ideal format for little hands. It contains 32 inner pages with 12 illustrated double-page scenes, cover, personalized dedication, and back cover.

Shipping times

Mainland Spain: 7-12 business days. Balearic & Canary Islands: 10-15 business days. Rest of Europe: 10-15 business days. Each book is printed on demand, which is why the timeframe includes artisanal production.

Shipping cost

Standard shipping is included in the book price. No hidden costs or surprises in the box.

Sustainable packaging

Your book arrives protected in a recycled cardboard box, plastic-free. We use environmentally friendly materials so your gift is consistent with the values we teach our children.

Order tracking

Once the book leaves the workshop, you'll receive an email with the tracking number. You can also check your order status from your user dashboard at meapica.com.
